Our 6mm closed cell foam is 100% waterproof and serves multiple purposes. It is great under the headliner because of the very powerful adhesive backing and it will reduce heat. But it’s main purpose is to act as the second layer combined with our 2mm butyl product for added noise and heat dampening.
